Southern Highlands Events Calendar

Attention: Many public events are currently closed due to COVID-19. Please check with the market organisers, before planning a trip. The following calendar shows when various markets would usually be scheduled, under normal circumstances.

The Southern Highlands have an extremely active community, who run numerous village markets, social events, shows and fairs. To keep track of all that is going on, we maintain the following event calendar.

Please note that we update this listing irregularly and so the information may not be correct. You should check the official event websites, before planning a visit.

If we are missing any Southern Highlands markets or important events that relate to gardening (or the community in general), then please feel free to let us know.

Also, please remember that this is a personal website. This calendar has apparently become quite popular on Google, and we are glad that people are finding it useful, but it’s just a thing we’ve stuck up on the net. We’re happy to read suggestions from strangers, but please be polite, or you may find our response somewhat abrasive. Cheers.

  2. Would you please add Railway Street Farmers Market Moss Vale to your list of events. The market is an authentic farmers market held weekly on Thursdays from 3- 6pm.
    Thank you

    • Thanks Tony. Great having a regular farmers market in the area. Also worth a visit for the fabulous muffins. Cheers.

  3. Thanks for the calendar, its a great help to people like me from the city. Just wondering the address you have for Moss Vale Markets is “Moss Vale Showground, Robertson road Moss Vale”. I cant find that on Google maps, could it be “Moss Vale Showground 16 Illawarra Highway Moss Vale”?
    kind Regards,

    • Thanks for your message Greg. Yes, that would be the same place (and the same road/highway). It seems that Google isn’t happy with a road having two names. I’ll update the Calendar entry to the highway address when I have a moment. Cheers.
